You are only charged the 5% platform fee when you actually receive pledges. Creating, editing, and publishing a drive is completely free. Fees are automatically deducted when funds are withdrawn to your account.
Absolutely not. The only fee Pledgr charges is the 5% platform fee on funds raised. Payment processing fees (M-Pesa, card, or crypto) are standard rates set by the payment providers themselves and are clearly shown before each transaction.
Pledgr supports Kenyan Shillings (KES) via M-Pesa, major cryptocurrencies including ETH and USDT, and USD/EUR/GBP via card payments. We automatically handle currency conversion so your pledgers can contribute from anywhere in the world.
Platform fees are non-refundable once a withdrawal has been processed. However, if a fixed-goal drive does not reach its target, all pledges are refunded to backers and no platform fee is charged. For disputes or special circumstances, contact our support team.
